I'l meet you there.

As I gazed up from my hammock at the stars & palm trees last night, I had a small cry. I just felt so grateful for being healthy and relaxed.
Some fare better than others when it comes to the deadly heat. I am very talented in the art of loving hot weather. My traveling companion can not boast the same. He needed a "vacation from his vacation". To that I say, "Dios Mio" (in a sarcastic tone).

A note about my glasses I'm sure you're dying to hear (har har):
These are the first glasses I've had since I was 11. Back then I wanted them so bad and exaggerated my problem of not being able to see the board in class. So began the ideas in my mind that stick like taffy. Really sticky, annoying taffy. After the fun wore off (about one week later) I never wore them again until I got contacts years later (and I did suffer as I have very poor vision). A couple of months ago I got these babies from Old Focals in Pasadena. I have been lovin' it. So there's my story...how did I ever become so fascinating?

Other than that, I'm reading about Goldie Hawn, who I find to be ridiculously inspiring.

Happiness is key! Do something you love and make it work against all odds.
